I decided to give the ole' traditional 70's lunch bag a new twist that encouraged far more sculptural qualities.
After painting (dry) bags are able to be crunched in to create a jaw and mouth area.

Stuff bags
Twist top with cord
Sculpt and glue on a Model Magic clay nose
Paint entire pumpkin with a variety of yellow oranges-green stem
*consider adding Mod Podge to your tempera for a gloss finish
Dry
Scrunch in mouth with a press, tuck and fold
(it helps to get your fingers up under the top lip)
Paint black sections
Dry
Add leaves to top
Glue google-eyes and press orange Model magic on eyelids to secure
Add white Model Magic teeth
