Angry Birds

These are so cute.  I saw them on Pinterest and am going to give them a whirl with my kids.  The example online was just a cute yellow, spring chick; however we changed out the color, beaks and legs (with orange Model Magic) and they became a little more like Angry Birds- to my kids delight!  I will post our results.
These were made with a wooden block base.  Our high school wood shop has them as scraps.

I used Aileen's Tacky glue for all of the parts.

  1. I am looking for some craft ideas and this seems like abit eerie for the kids to handle though

  2. WOW! Nice ! This is best for babies from 3 years. Where to purchase this one?

  3. Hi Lori,
I came across your blog and found it really sweet and full of passion for the Arts with children.
I would like you to invite you to check out
It is a new website - an interest based social network for art loving children, where they can have their gallery, show or sell their artwork to raise money for charity or start a fundraiser with their school.I would be delighted to get some feedback from you and possible collaboration on the site since you are teaching art to children and Artbeez is all about how the children can be empowered with the art they produce!
    Best wishes
